Shalom dear friends, 

Last night I was awake frequently because of multiple dreams. In one of my dreams I was with my husband. A man looking like a messenger came to me and took me by the arm and said: "Come quickly, you need to see." He took me away from Rion somewhere not too far from where we were standing. I did not know what he wanted to show me and what was going on. We came to a rocky hill. There was soldiers and people resembling an enemy. I was quickly trying to discern who was enemy and what they were going to do. It wasn't a peaceful atmosphere and I wasn't sure I wanted to be there. A bald man looking exactly like a Roman soldier walked up to me and took me by the arms. He was forceful and rude. It was as if the presence of the others there who was not Roman Soldiers resembled demons who were very happy to see them take me. Where are you taking me I asked? No reply. I realised that the man who initialy came to fetch me was not an enemy. There was peace in him although I still did not understand why he brought me there. As the Roman Soldier tried to drag me nearer to the edge of the cliff I vaguely became aware of a cross and that it was where I was being taken. I realised that they wanted to crucify me. The next moment the clouds broke open and Yeshua came down saying: "I will take her place.' The dream changed to where I had to run a race.

 

John 19:16-18

Then he handed Him over to them to be crucified. So they took Jesus, and He went out, bearing His own cross, to the place called the Place of the Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha. 18 There they crucified Him, and with Him two others, one on either side, and Jesus between them.

 

This dream reminded me of the intense reality that Yeshua took my place. What great grace that He loved us first! May this reality grow and increase in you. May His work on the cross bring greater obedience in your life in this season because we have a race to run. We will only be able to finish it with endurance, perseverance, obedience and most importantly- love! Soak in His love for you. I myself have heard the story of the crucifixion from when I was very small. You can easily become 'used' to the truth of what He came to do for you. We need to ask Him to write it on our hearts so that it will be holy in our thoughts and hearts, instead of something that we know and have heard over and over again. We should not become desensitised to His finished work but instead, what He did for us should be seen in our choices.
